Refus répété de la DGE à Ousmane SONKO : une insécurité judiciaire en gestation ?
Pour la troisième fois consécutive, la Direction Général des Élections (DGE) a refusé au candidat à la présidentielle Ousmane SONKO, le retrait de fiches de parrainages. Cette situation est source d’une potentielle insécurité judiciaire, comme l’a souligné le président de Afrika Jom Center, rapporte Walf-groupe.com.
Alioune TINE, président de Afrika Jom Center, estime que la situation nécessite une intervention rapide et efficace de la Commission Électorale Nationale Autonome (CENA) pour demander à la DGE de respecter la décision de justice. Il a également interpellé le ministre de l’Intérieur Me Sidiki KABA, qui selon lui, doit respecter la feuille de route que lui a confiée le Président Macky Sall, afin de créer des conditions idoines pour une élection juste et équitable.
Alioune TINE déplore la situation actuelle : «À quoi sert la loi électorale? La DGE chargée d’organiser l’élection présidentielle, comment peut-elle susciter la confiance des acteurs impliqués dans le processus électoral, si délibérément, elle refuse d’appliquer une décision de justice enjoignant le préfet de réinscrire Ousmane SONKO sur les listes électorales. Cette situation crée objectivement une insécurité judiciaire, une insécurité sur les droits fondamentaux d’un candidat.»
Il faut rappeler qu’Ayib DAFFÉ, mandataire du candidat Ousmane SONKO, a été empêché d’accéder à la DGE ce vendredi 20 octobre. Un important dispositif policier bloquait tous les passages, créant un climat de tension palpable.
