Pour tenter de traverser la Méditerranée vers l’Europe, il y’a eu plus de 2500 migrants disparus depuis le début de l’année, a rapporté une responsable de l’ONU ce jeudi.
Au 24 septembre, plus de 2.500 personnes ont été comptabilisées comme mortes ou disparues en 2023. Ce nombre représente une augmentation de deux-tiers, comparé aux 1.680 personnes lors de la même période de 2022″, a déclaré Ruven Menikdiwela, directrice du bureau du HCR à New York, lors d’une réunion du Conseil de sécurité consacrée à la crise des migrants en Méditerranée.
